Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,617 per week in Tucson, AZ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation certification required Must-Have: - Experience in large, fast-paced emergency departments with significant volume - Experience with ventilated patients - EPIC charting experience required - Level 1 trauma experience preferred - Ability to float to sister locations required - Weekend coverage is necessary; four weekend shifts per contract Description: This position will offer 3x12-hour shifts as an alternative if preferred. Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience is necessary. Candidates must have experience in large, urban emergency departments with significant patient volume. Experience with ventilated patients is required. The charting system used is EPIC; familiarity with this system is a must. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. The position supports Patient Care Technicians and Medics. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. The number of visits per day is approximately 210. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend, totaling four weekend shifts during the contract. Blocked scheduling is not accommodated. Travelers will only be considered if they have no more than one DUI incident on record, with the incident occurring more than a year ago. Work history involving any previous locations in the system must be reviewed for rehire status approval.
