**Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Acute Care!**
**Job Description:**
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing skilled nursing care to patients.
- Participate in the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Deliver direct nursing care and assist patients in accordance with directions from a Registered Nurse, Physician, Physician Assistant, or Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Contribute to the plan of care with insights from patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Perform thorough patient data collection and observations tailored to the patient's age and needs.
- Collect and document objective and subjective patient data, including focused observations such as pain assessment and treatment effectiveness.
- Administer ordered medications and treatments using the appropriate medical equipment.
- Conduct phlebotomy services with precision and care.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals for optimal care.
- Recognize and report significant changes in patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Uphold a commitment to safety policies and procedures while exercising accountability for patient care.
**Education and Qualifications:**
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or LPN applicant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
- Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be required for specialty areas.
- Previous clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
