Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,654 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, TNCC, PALS required Must-Have: - National Background Screen (including OIG, EPLS, NSO, etc.) within 90 days - Flu and Covid Vaccination or Declination Form - Current License Verification - Current Certifications Description: This is a rapid start position, with expedited onboarding approved. Travelers must provide compliance items to start. The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats every type of patient. The nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care (simple procedures) to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. The role involves coordinating and delivering care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience. Travelers must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma nurse. Ratios of 1:5 are expected. BSN is highly desired. Cerner experience is required.
