Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,671 per week in Plattsburgh, NY

Exciting Opportunity: ER RN Travel Position!

Join a dynamic team as an ER RN and elevate your nursing career! This is a fantastic travel opportunity where your skills and expertise will shine!

• Shift Details: 12-hour evening shifts (11a - 11p) with the flexibility to adjust scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs.
• Weekend Commitment: Minimum of every other weekend to ensure continuity of care.
• Holiday Requirements: Participate in holiday coverage with no on-call obligations.
• Tiered Travel Rates:
  • Local – 50 miles or less
  • Radius – 51-100 miles
  • Travel – 101 miles and up

Requirements:

• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Charge experience is a plus!
• A minimum of 1 year of specialty experience is required.
• Certifications needed: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC must be active or proof of completion must be included in submission).
• Must possess a NY license or proof of application (note that NY licensing can take 6-8 weeks).
• Epic experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Gaps in employment over 90 days must be explained.
• Complete work history information is needed for submission (including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.).

Additional Information:

• Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle is recommended as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
• Winter preparation: Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
