Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Triage, assess, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Deliver care in critical and non-critical situations following established protocols
- Rapidly recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions
- Work collaboratively with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform other emergency nursing procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients and families in crisis
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (New Hampshire or compact state license)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
