TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Evenings Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 travel assignment License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: - 5+ years of nursing experience - Meditech experience Description: The Emergency Department provides care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Average patient visits range from 180 to 200 per day. The department has a 6 bed behavioral lock-down area staffed by psychiatric personnel. Patients requiring orthopedic or neurological trauma care are assessed, with the option to transfer depending on the treatment needs. Respiratory therapists are available 24/7 to manage ventilated patients. The nursing staff is responsible for their own lab draws and IV starts. The expectation is to complete orientation within the first week of employment. Caribbean blue scrubs are required for all staff members. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory. Nurse-to-patient ratios are maintained at 1:4 for optimal care delivery. Central monitoring techs are available to assist with telemetry needs. Emergency Department physicians and mid-level providers cover various shifts throughout the day and night. Additionally, nurses are supported by nurse aides and security personnel during their shifts. The department emphasizes a collaborative environment to ensure high-quality patient care. Callout processes will be reviewed with agency staff to mitigate issues.
