Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ER Holding Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 4 - Blood product administration skills - Knowledge of chest tubes and continuous bladder irrigation - Experience in telemetry remote monitoring - Tracheostomy care and management skills Description: This role is for a registered nurse in the ER holding specialty. The shift will be night hours with a 12-hour duration. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates must possess a valid nursing license and required certifications. The expected patient ratio during shifts is 4 patients per nurse. Additional skills required include blood product administration, chest tube management, and telemetry. The nurse will also provide tracheostomy care and be involved in substance withdrawal management. Floating to similar units may be necessary based on facility needs. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Brief orientation on the unit will be provided upon starting the assignment. This position does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
