TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year required License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: All previous employees from any affiliated facility must be separated from the organization for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. 1 year of emergency department experience is required. First-time travelers are not accepted. Traveler must be open to floating to different campuses. Weekends are required every other week. Description: Provide care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Patients may include adults and pediatrics, along with ambulance triage and ED holding. The department has 11 hallway beds and a total of 40 beds. Expected procedures include breathing treatments, chest tube setup and care, CPAP/BiPAP, and rapid sequence intubation. Responsibilities also include trach care, managing vents, blood and blood product administration, and cardioversion/defibrillation. Additional tasks include operating cooling/warming blankets, performing CRRT/dialysis, and obtaining 12 lead EKGs. The typical emergency department patient experience includes managing trauma, CVAs, near drowning incidents, and general emergency situations. Interdisciplinary support is available from respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, radiology, and unit secretaries. Travelers may be required to float between facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
