Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,775 per week in Alton, IL

The nurse will work 4x12 or 3x12 shifts. A minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience is required. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The nurse will not be required to be on-call. No floating outside the unit will be necessary. The facility is not accepting local candidates within a 75-mile radius. This unit sees a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, and adults. The daily census is approximately 85 patients, with an average of 85 visits per day. The facility has a total of 21 beds in the Emergency Department. Nurses will manage various emergency situations including trauma and mental health. All clinical staff will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Charting is conducted using an electronic health record system. The unit includes dedicated areas for rapid assessment to improve patient flow. All documentation must be completed accurately and timely to ensure compliance. Required skills include administering blood products, performing triage, and maintaining IVs. The work environment requires effective communication and collaboration with team members. Travelers must complete compliance documentation by the designated deadline. This position offers guaranteed hours, ensuring adequate scheduling for staff.
