Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,816 per week in Lexington, KY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Room setting License: Compact or state license required Certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must have 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting. Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. A compact or state license is required. Description: Candidates must have 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. No trauma level one experience is necessary. Travel experience is preferred, but not necessary. RTO for longer than one week is not approved unless there are special circumstances. Local travelers within a 100-mile radius are not accepted. Candidates will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities. Previous charge experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Weekend coverage includes 4-5 shifts per 6 weeks. Candidates should be prepared to handle a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 90 visits, with approximately 250 visits per day. Candidates must be competent in emergency department skills and compliance requirements. This position may require floating to other units as needed. Eligibility for rehire will be checked prior to any offer.
