Job Title: Nurse Manager II Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room - Critical Need Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM Experience: 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (or Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire) Must-Have: Skills-based hiring enabled Description: This position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program. The candidate must have a valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are mandatory. Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course is required within 6 months of hire or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is also acceptable within the same timeframe. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred. Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias is preferred. A NIH Stroke Scale Certificate is beneficial.
