Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. License: Valid State License required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC required. Must-Have: - Level I Trauma experience required. - Skills in central line care and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage are essential. Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The nurse will be responsible for providing care in a high-paced environment. The expected patient ratios are 1:4-5. Candidate must have experience in a Level I Trauma Center. Floating between units is not required. No on-call duty is required. Candidates will be required to work every other weekend and holidays. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The unit treats a range of patients including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census will range from 129 to 160 patients. The nurse will be working in a facility with 30 beds and 19 rooms. Special procedures and unit details include being a Level I Trauma Center. Please ensure that you have the required experience and certifications before applying.
