Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,905 per week in Lansing, MI

The position requires completion of a request for time off during submission, as no additional time off will be approved later. The role will include working weekends, with a schedule of 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) every 4 weeks. Floating to a pediatric emergency department may be necessary. Required certifications include TNCC, ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and NIH. There will be high patient ratios in the department, averaging 1 nurse to 5-6 patients, with possibilities of 8 depending on patient influx. Preferred experience includes continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration. The emergency room is a Level 1 trauma center and provides care for pediatric and adult patients with various emergencies. The facility has an average daily census of 250 patients and 100 beds. Staff support includes various interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Special procedures and patient care require adherence to a 5-level triage system. Modules related to training must be completed prior to beginning the role. Experience in trauma care is necessary, along with a focus on high-acuity patient management.
