Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in Emergency Room/Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Plattsburgh, NY. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all age ranges
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Prepare patients for tests and notify physicians of any changes in condition
- Utilize EPIC for accurate patient documentation and care coordination
- Manage nurse-directed drips and perform EKGs, as necessary
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED- Active NY license or proof of application
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency department setting
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Recent EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
- Must be able to work with nurse-patient ratios higher than 1:4
