Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $3,034 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour; Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Emergency Room License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, PMAB Training Must-Have: Must have experience in a trauma or teaching Emergency Room. Must have vehicle for this assignment. Description: Position will float between units. On-call requirement: No. Weekends required: Yes, can be scheduled more than every other. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios: 1:3. Special requirements: 48 hours approved. Travelers may be expected to float between units based on their skill sets. It is common for travelers to float to other units and facilities to meet needs. Must have experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center. Experience in a large facility is necessary. Skills required include arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and central line care/management. Isolation precautions and personal protective equipment experience is necessary. Management of dysrhythmias and procedural sedation administration/monitoring experience is required. Experience in triage is necessary. References required covering 1 year within the last 3 years during the compliance process. Travelers refusing to float may result in termination of assignment. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays. Submittal RTO or specific scheduling requests must be included upfront.
