Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $3,052 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ER nursing License: Active New York Single State RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Epic charting experience - Experience with IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, emergency care, and trauma management Description: The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Room. Successful candidates will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The Registered Nurse will work with patients of all ages, including adults and geriatrics. Responsibilities include managing IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care procedures. Clinical skills required include administration of vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilator management. The nurse will manage various emergency situations such as trauma, cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), and spinal cord injuries. The nurse will be required to float within their skillset as necessary. Shift rotation includes working night shifts with expectations to work every other holiday and weekend.
