Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $3,113 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Maryland

Schedule: 4x12 hour shifts per week; expect to work some holidays and weekends (minimum 6 weekend shifts per contract); 1:4 patient ratio across all shifts; 20 hours of orientation provided

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center with high acuity, fast-paced environment averaging 220 patients per day
• 54-bed Emergency Department treating all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Epic EMR system used exclusively; proficiency required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• STEMI and Stroke Certified facility with advanced care capabilities
• 12-month assignment with floating in rotation with facility staff per Joint Commission standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale (pending certifications acceptable)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in critical skills including blood product administration, central line management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, and triage
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius (local candidates not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• 2-step PPD required
