Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Provide expert, rapid-response care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies
- Perform triage, assessments, and critical interventions in a fast-paced environment
- Administer medications, fluids, and emergency treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients effectively
- Maintain calm, professional communication during high-pressure situations
- Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients and families regarding follow-up care and discharge instructions
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC and ENPC preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Emergency Department experience
