Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Triage, assess, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Respond quickly and effectively to trauma and medical emergencies.
- Administer IVs, medications, and emergency interventions per protocol.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients.
- Document assessments and treatments accurately in the EMR.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active Massachusetts RN license (or compact eligible).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS and TNCC preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years' recent ED experience.
- Proficiency in emergency protocols and strong clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
