Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $3,602 per week in Boston, MA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 14 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 Emergency Department experience. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS (must be active/unexpired). Must-Have: - Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks. - Pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 (score of 85% or higher). Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The schedule requires two weekends in a four-week period and every other holiday. Nurses should be flexible with floating to various areas, including Psych and Pediatric Emergency Departments. Candidates must be comfortable caring for patients aged 15 and older in pediatrics, unless they have prior pediatric experience. The Emergency Department is very busy, holding up to 120 treatment areas and serving 350-440 patients daily. Patient ratio is 1:4-5, depending on acuity. Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms during the assignment.
