Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $3,685 per week in Utica, NY

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Upstate New York

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 48 hours per week. Floating to other units required as needed.

Highlights

• 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• High-acuity case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Specialized equipment experience with Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management
• Unit includes 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 2 triage areas, 6 super track beds, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 behavioral health beds
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred

Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience with pediatric patient care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required at time of submission
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license with current address
• Willingness to provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) cases as needed
