Schedule: Evening Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day | 5 days/week
Experience: ED Experience Required
Local Pay Rate: $112.50/hr on W2 (Without Benefits)

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Emergecy Room/Dept to lead nursing operations and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in an Emergency Department setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead nursing practice using relationship-centered care and modified primary nursing principles.
Ensure effective implementation of Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR).
Conduct daily patient and staff rounding and monitor patient experience.
Lead staff huddles and identify high-risk patients requiring additional attention.
Address patient and family concerns and initiate service recovery when needed.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to resolve clinical and operational concerns.
Monitor patient experience scores, quality metrics, and staff engagement.
Promote evidence-based nursing practices and a safe, therapeutic patient-care environment.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective action plans.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Monitor nursing documentation and identify gaps in clinical information systems.
Ensure staff competencies, quality requirements, and regulatory standards are maintained.
Provide leadership, coaching, feedback, and support to nursing staff.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current New York State RN license required
3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred
Emergency Department (ED) experience required
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Strong knowledge of patient safety and quality improvement practices
Master's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field
Previous Nurse Manager or leadership experience
Experience with quality improvement, patient experience, and safety initiatives
