JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to serve as Nursing Supervisor within a fast-paced Emergency Services environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, patient care delivery, staffing coordination, quality initiatives, and team development while ensuring a safe, efficient, and patient-focused care environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily operations and ensure safe, effective patient care delivery within the assigned department
Coordinate staffing assignments, workload distribution, and schedule adjustments as needed
Respond effectively to emergencies, operational challenges, and staffing changes
Provide leadership, guidance, and clinical support to nursing personnel
Delegate responsibilities appropriately and monitor completion of assigned duties
Support staff development through ongoing education, mentorship, and coaching
Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives
Monitor patient care outcomes and implement corrective actions when appropriate
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare team members
Assist with departmental goal achievement, resource management, and operational efficiency
Perform additional leadership and clinical responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Associate Degree in Nursing required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
Multi-State RN License or eligibility to obtain as required
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
CPI Certification required within orientation period
Additional unit-specific certifications required within orientation period
Prior acute care nursing experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2-3 years of acute care or comparable clinical experience
Demonstrated leadership or charge nurse experience
Previous supervisory or team leadership responsibilities
Emergency department experience preferred
Strong conflict-resolution and critical-thinking skills
