Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
  • Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record
  • Maintain a safe care environment consistent with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification — required prior to submission
  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Must meet 50+ mile radius requirement from facility location
  • BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume, acute care Emergency Department
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care patient populations
