Travel RN – Behavioral Health Emergency Department

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting to the Behavioral Health Emergency Department
- Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient management
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients experiencing behavioral health crises
- Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and regulatory standards throughout the course of care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Ability to meet travel assignment requirements including onsite presence for the duration of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Emergency Department environment
- Familiarity with behavioral health crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Previous travel nursing experience
