Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Respond to and manage trauma cases as part of a fast-paced ER team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Some trauma experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma emergency department
