Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective emergency care
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Assist with trauma cases and other critical care situations as they arise

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Experience in a trauma environment required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
