Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
Perform and interpret EKG readings, cardiac monitoring, and blood glucose assessments
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and medics to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document all patient care activities accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Communicate effectively with staff and providers to support high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
Current PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
Level I Trauma center experience
Stroke program experience
Energetic, collaborative practice style with strong interpersonal and communication skills
