Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
  • Perform and interpret EKG readings, cardiac monitoring, and blood glucose assessments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and medics to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Document all patient care activities accurately using the Meditech EMR system
  • Communicate effectively with staff and providers to support high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • Current PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Level I Trauma center experience
  • Stroke program experience
  • Energetic, collaborative practice style with strong interpersonal and communication skills
