Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
- Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines using critical thinking and independent professional judgment
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout all phases of patient care
- Apply supervisory discretion in managing patient care priorities and responding to emergent situations
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required; Cerner experience within the last 5 years also required
- Each position listed in work history must include the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used in one role, dates clarifying usage of each system must be provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
