Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as They Fall in Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a patient ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Document patient information and clinical data accurately using EPIC
• Maintain compliance with all unit protocols, policies, and regulatory standards
• Float within the Emergency Room specialty as needed — travelers are first to float
• Work every other weekend and holidays as they fall within the schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact License at time of submission
• ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• CPI certification required — the Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong, demonstrated experience in a fast-paced ER setting
• Must have a permanent address 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible — locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless otherwise specified

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity Emergency Room patient populations
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient volumes and acuity levels
