Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays required as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Float within scope of practice as needed — travelers are expected to float first
• Adhere to all facility policies, compliance requirements, and scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact state license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA only), BLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), CPI, and NIHSS
• CPI certification must be completed through the Calm Every Storm online platform if completed online
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible — locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless otherwise specified

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed — first-time travelers are accepted
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and varying patient populations
• Comfort with floating within scope across units with no restrictions
