Coordinate total nursing care for patients across a newborn-to-geriatric population in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
Participate in patient and family teaching, ensuring patient rights and privacy are protected throughout the care process
Collaborate cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting
Adhere to ethical and professional standards as defined by the ANA Code for Nurses, the ANA Nursing's Social Policy Statement, and applicable state and regulatory agency requirements
Provide around-the-clock emergent treatment for both minor and severe injuries and illnesses, maintaining a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
Required Qualifications
Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required (ENPC accepted in place of PALS)
