Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to an additional local facility as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license or valid temporary MA license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Must pass an onsite competency test administered on the first day of orientation (one attempt only)
- Must successfully complete Relias testing during onboarding (up to 2 attempts) in preparation for onsite testing
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in high-volume or trauma-level emergency departments
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple care settings
