Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions and interpret plans of medical care to deliver safe, competent, and individualized nursing care
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
- Record and maintain accurate patient medical information, vital signs, and detailed reports
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members
- Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license required
- 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Knowledge of nursing principles, medical terminology, and age-specific patient care
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an emergency room or acute care setting
