    RN – Emergency Department (Adult ED)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Every Other Holiday | 2 Weekends Per 4-Week Schedule Period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Adult Emergency Department serving 350–440 patients per day across up to 120 treatment areas
    • Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, including identification of heart blocks
    • Float as needed to Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED, providing care for patients aged 15 and older (unless prior pediatric experience qualifies for broader age range)
    • Manage a patient assignment of 1:4–5 patients depending on acuity
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or Level II ED experience, OR 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience
    • Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
    • Active, unexpired BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
    • Flexibility to float to Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
    • Previous travel nursing assignments
    • Critical care experience
