Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within an acute care hospital
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patient acuity
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in emergency response team activities as needed, including during designated hurricane season periods (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI certification preferred
- TNCC certification preferred
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
