Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Location

Centennial, Colorado

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a hospital-based Emergency Department with patient ratios that vary based on acuity (typically 4:1)
  • Perform procedures including IV insertion, EKG, Foley catheter placement, splinting, wound infiltration, and wound care
  • Administer medications and conduct thorough patient assessments
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy, house supervisors, med/surg/ICU staff, lab, and on-site radiology (CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, Ultrasound)
  • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
  • Operate unit equipment including LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE devices
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • Current PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience working in a large, hospital-based Emergency Department setting
  • Previous experience with Meditech EMR
