Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Chattanooga, TN

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with 19 beds plus a 4-bed psychiatric pod
• Maintain a 4:1 patient ratio while delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
• Apply strong sepsis and stroke clinical skillsets in alignment with Chest Pain and Stroke certification standards
• Utilize electronic documentation system (Meditech) for accurate and timely patient charting
• Operate unit equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and LifePak defibrillators
• Float as needed to the psychiatric pod or to alternate Emergency Department locations within the same health system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records documentation
• Strong background in sepsis and stroke recognition and management
• Familiarity with tele-psychiatry workflows or psychiatric patient care in an ED setting
