Contract | Days (0600–1830) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Float to MedSurg or ICU departments as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using basic computer systems

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• At least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months, with acute critical care experience within the last 12 months; or EMT/ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in good standing
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ER and ICU clinical experience strongly preferred
• MICN certification desired; must be completed within one year of hire if not already obtained
• NRP, TNCC, and CEN certifications encouraged and recommended
