Contract | Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal patient flow and outcomes
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to maintain high-quality care
• Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care while meeting the communication needs of patients and families
• Communicate effectively with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Consult with specialists and ancillary departments as required to support comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• TNS certification preferred
