Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult community Emergency Department with a high admission volume
Manage IV insertion and PICC/Central Line care
Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs; perform cardioversion and defibrillation as indicated
Manage airway interventions including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care
Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong Emergency Department clinical skills
Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC/Central Line management
Ability to obtain 12-lead EKGs and perform telemetry interpretation
Experience with cardioversion/defibrillation
Competency in procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and trach care
Preferred Experience / Skills
3–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
Experience with behavioral health patients and chemical dependency
