Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult community Emergency Department with a high admission volume
• Manage IV insertion and PICC/Central Line care
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs; perform cardioversion and defibrillation as indicated
• Manage airway interventions including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care
• Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong Emergency Department clinical skills
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC/Central Line management
• Ability to obtain 12-lead EKGs and perform telemetry interpretation
• Experience with cardioversion/defibrillation
• Competency in procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and trach care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience with behavioral health patients and chemical dependency
