Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult community emergency department with approximately 25,000 visits annually across 16 beds
• Manage a patient population primarily consisting of stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and orthopedic cases, with minimal trauma or pediatric patients
• Perform and interpret 12-Lead EKGs, telemetry monitoring, cardioversion, and defibrillation
• Manage advanced airway interventions including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, and trach care
• Perform IV insertion and manage PICC lines and central lines
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–4 while upholding high standards of customer service and team collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or compact state eligibility
• Strong Emergency Department clinical skills required
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC/central line management
• Competency in cardiac monitoring including 12-Lead EKG acquisition and telemetry interpretation, cardioversion, and defibrillation
• Airway management skills including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and trach care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Experience with behavioral health patients and chemical dependency
