Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
Educate patients and significant others regarding care, treatment, and health management
Accurately document patient care in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care
Required Qualifications
Active or ability to obtain Oregon RN license prior to start
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
BLS certification (AHA)
ACLS certification (AHA)
PALS certification (AHA)
TNCC certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a high-volume or trauma-level emergency department setting
Familiarity with pediatric emergency care
