Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Cottonwood, AZ

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36–48 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a short-term acute care facility
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility quality and patient safety standards, including barcode medication administration (BCMA)
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner electronic health records
• Float to an affiliated freestanding Emergency Department location approximately 20 minutes away as needed based on census and staffing
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective emergency care delivery
• Adhere to all facility infection control, safety, and compliance protocols throughout the assignment

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or a valid compact nursing license from a participating state
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Willingness and ability to float without restrictions to other units or affiliated facilities as needed
• Availability to work every other weekend and 2 facility-recognized holidays during the assignment

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Prior travel nursing experience; seasoned travelers preferred

• Work within a Teaching and Level IV Trauma designated facility offering a dynamic and clinically enriching environment
