Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Cypress, TX

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotate Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a 4:1 or 5:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Utilize Philips equipment and document patient care accurately within the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with charge nurses, triage nurses, HUCs, and patient care technicians as part of a structured shift team
• Adhere to unit dress code (Royal Blue scrubs) and all applicable unit policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC certifications required
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR and Philips monitoring equipment
• Ability to work rotating weekends as required by unit scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment with exposure to STEMI and stroke protocols
• Demonstrated positive culture fit with strong teamwork and communication skills
