Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
LocationDecatur, GA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Onsite | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed to support staffing and patient care continuity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Prior Emergency Room nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience floating to Clinical Decision or Observation units
- Familiarity with high-volume emergency department environments
