Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
LocationDecatur, GA
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed to support staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Emergency Room nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience floating to observation or clinical decision units
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage high patient volumes in an emergency setting
