Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Perform EKGs, IV insertion, and medication administration
- Assist with conscious sedation and wound care procedures
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and Baxter infusion pumps
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, paramedics, radiology technicians, and security personnel
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current ENPC certification
- Current PALS certification and NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience as an ER Charge RN
- Willingness and ability to float between Emergency Department areas as needed
- Positive, flexible, and team-oriented personality with strong adaptability in a fast-paced environment
