Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform triage and comprehensive patient assessments in a 32-bed Emergency Department setting
  • Administer and monitor conscious sedation procedures in accordance with unit protocols
  • Provide care across varying patient ratios based on acuity, including standard assignments (1:4) and vertical care spaces (1:6)
  • Perform splinting and other typical emergency department procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, EMTs, and medics across shifts
  • Document patient care accurately using the unit's electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Current TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with Meditech electronic medical records system
  • Familiarity with equipment such as Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, and Mobilab
  • Flexible, professional demeanor with a strong team-player attitude
