Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Denver, CO

Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Denver, Colorado

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform EKGs, IV placement, and medication administration
• Assist with conscious sedation and wound care procedures
• Operate GE monitoring equipment and Baxter infusion pumps
• Document accurately and efficiently using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, paramedics, radiology technicians, and security personnel

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current ENPC certification
• Current PALS certification and NIH Stroke Scale certification

• Experience as an ER Charge RN
• Willingness and ability to float between Emergency Department areas
• Positive, flexible, and team-oriented work style

• Work in a well-staffed, 11-bed freestanding emergency department with 24/7 physician, radiology, and security coverage
• Gain experience in a dynamic ED environment utilizing current GE technology and equipment
